Hey Kayla. This looks like a 15-215 Pivot Shoe; however, this shoe and coil balances comes as a fully assembly with our Series 140 Coil Balance Systems. To know which spring weight you need, look for a stamp on the spring. If there is none, give me the exact weight of the window sash(es) that use these balances, and I can work it out for you.

Hi Kayla. My colleague in customer service informed me that you think the width on the Series 140 pivot shoe doesn't match your old shoe's width. I'm confused, since you cited the width at 1-1/4", and this is the same width we list for the Series 140. Based on the appearance of your shoe, I'm confident the Series 140 is the best bet for you; we've replaced these many times. Can you tell me what other dimensions give you pause?

A quick learner from Portsmouth NH says:
The misunderstanding is that the 15-215 is 9/16" deep. Width and height are fine. The assembly I need is 7/8" deep which is what Kayla posted earlier. Sashes are 12lb.
Please help. Thank you.

Perhaps I can help. We don't have the Series 140 in this size; but our S210-12 does come with a 7/8" thick coil. I think you could use this as a replacement. The spring mounting bracket, the 16-031, is placed at the top of the window track with the coil spring attached. You will need to replace the pivot bar with either our 26-398 or 26-405, depending on which has dimensions that best match your old pivot bar. Let me know if you have any further questions.
