Coil balance spring

Hi, I have a window where both of the coil springs snapped/broke. The rest of the assembly appears to be in fine working order. The bronze coil is exactly 1/2" in width and stamped with a "6" on it. I was thinking the S190 or S175 bronze is the right pick, but wasn't sure between short/medium/long. I'm hoping you can help guide me, thanks!

Hello! I am very sorry for the long wait; we appreciate your patience during an incredibly busy season.

We're happy to look into this, but we'd like to see a photo of the pivot shoe first. If we can ID that, we can determine the compatible coil balances.

Your shoe is a match for the 15-177, which is designed for use with the S152 springs (sold separately). Since your spring is stamped with 6, see the S152-6 6-pound spring. Note that the spring is meant to screw to the side of the shoe. If you need a new screw, see the 33-072 (sold separately).
