Coil balance and shoe

Question

I have a Alside double hung window brokespring/shoe set but I don't know if I got theh last one from you. The pivot metal has broken.
Weight 18 lbs.
One original spring has '6K' stamped on the metal.

Hey there. This is a 15-177 Pivot Shoe. It works with Series 152 Coil Balance springs. For any spring stamped '6' you could use the S152-6 6 pound spring as a replacement. However if you are certain the sash weighs 18 pounds, you could just use the S152-9 9 pound springs, one on each side of the sash. This would give you the required 18 pounds of support.
