Coil shoe balance id

Question

I have a number of shoe balances that are broken in that I cannot attach the sash to them. This is causing a guillotine effect for a few windows. I need help identifying them. They are all the same as the attached photos.

Thanks for your post! This exact coil assembly is no longer made but the 15-177 Pivot Shoe should work to replace the shoe. It is compatible with the Series 152 Coil Balance, which is attached using the 33-072 screw.

You'll need to look for the stamp/marking from both coils to determine the correct ones for the replacement assemblies. The one I can see appears to be a 6, so you'll need the S152-6 to replace it.

The 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel will replace the coil supports. All three pieces are used together for a single coil, so you'll need to purchase them for each of the coils.
