Coil window balance replacement

Hello,
my window stopped staying up and this medal piece is now visible. I believe it's a coil window balancer. I am going to attempt to replace them myself. I don't know what I am supposed to measure to find the right size. I have attached photos of the coil and the label of my windows.

Thanks for your post! I'm quite certain we can provide you with a replacement recommendation for the coil assemblies you have. Although, I'll need to see a photo of them removed from the window channel to determine the correct replacement.

The view of the shoe is being obstructed by the window sash and the framing, so it is hard to identify.

Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

I took the coil balance off. The metal coil has 4 and 7 on it. The plastic part has a 485. Can you tell what parts I need?

Thanks for the additional photos. We do not have this exact balance shoe but the 15-199 Pivot Shoe should work to replace it. The thickness of the shoe is 17/32" thick.

This shoe is compatible with the 26-378 Pivot Bar.

This shoe uses either the 1/2" wide Series 160 or the 3/8" wide Series 165 Coil Balances. To determine which series you need, confirm the width of the coil spring. You'll need to look for stamps/marking on the springs to confirm the correct replacements.
