Colour of spiral balance

I need to buy two 26" spiral balances to support a window that weighs 25 pounds. What colour should I select?

Good afternoon! Thanks for posting. Before I can recommend the appropriate tip color, I just need you to tell me if your windows are tilt, or non-tilt. I will also need to know the diameter of the balance tube. From there, I can identify your balance Series, and then the best tip color for your window sash weight. Let me know!

Tilt.. Diameter is 5/8".

Thank you. It sounds like you have something like our S600-26. Does that look about right? If so, I would recommend the Red Tip. It can carry a window sash weight range of 7 through 29 pounds.

Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
