Constatnt force balance

Question

these are pictures of what I need, the other one disintegrated, so I sent pics of the good one. the tag is from another window in the house as the label on the actual sash in question is missing. The only marking on the spring is an F. the lock shoe only has a Patent # 6,983,513 and 5,371,971. Any ideas on where I can get a replacement? Thanks, Terry

Thanks for posting. Yours is a little different, but I think we can still help. See our 15-177 pivot shoe and Series 152 coil spring. The spring simply screws onto the pivot shoe with something like our 33-071. I think this will work for you. As for which Series 152 option to choose, I'm not sure. "F" may translate well to the S152-6, but you may want to weigh your sash just in case. Each individual S152-6 can carry 6 pounds, so one on each side can carry a 12 pound sash.
