Custom Balance request, Paramount SH Window

Question

I would like a quote for 2 channel balances - the description is as follows:

Length - 33 inches end to end excluding hook and t-lock

Size - 1/2 inch

Weight - 13.8 lbs

Ends - 1 1/4 T-Lock and Clip attachment.

Current balance is off a Paramount single hung window - only number reference is 33A for the balance

I looks like your 33" Series 795 would just about work except for the Clip end attachment and the weight. You quote a weight range of 14 - 20 lbs. I don't know if this 0.2 lbs would make a difference but I was told that this had to be special ordered.

Attached are photos of the channel balance I would like to replace.

Thanks for writing in. We'd be happy to make up this S795-33 with the 15-198 Hook attached on top. Before we get this started for you, let's clarify the issue with the window sash weight. DId you ever have problems keeping this window closed prior to the balances failing? If so, then the original stamp option might have been too strong, and we can make up custom 33A stamped balances for you. If, however, you never really had an issue keeping the window closed, then the 33B should work fine. Keep in mind that all custom balances are non-refundable, and that there would be a 6 week lead time to get the 33A balances made up. Let me know how you wish to proceed and I'll get this in motion for you.
