Custom MW window balance with a hook?

Question

I have MW double hung windows that are about 14 years old. They have a 36C BS1 channel and one window is completely broken, some are struggling to go up and down. One channel balance is broken in 3 places so I think it is best to completely replace it. It however has the hook at the top. My question is whether you can make them with the hook for me. Also, with double hung windows, are there 4 of the same in it? Do you give a discount for a larger order? The with of the shoe is 1 inch. Thanks for your help!

We can supply this balance, but it will have to be a custom order, like you mentioned. We would use our S795-36 as the base, and then install a 15-194 shoe on the bottom and a 15-198 hook on that top. Does that look good to you?

If your top sashes also have balances, then you should confirm their size. They may not be 36" long, or they may also have a different stamp. I highly recommend checking.
