Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but the stamp code does not indicate the correct replacement, only the spring strength. To get started, we'll need to see both ends of the metal channel and the clip at the end of the pulley cord to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

Thanks for getting back to us. It looks like you have the S795 channel balance. Note that these come with the 15-195 closed-cam T-lock shoes but we also offer the 15-195B open-cam shoes shown in your photos. See the video below showing how to swap out the shoes.

Your stamp code indicates that you may have a heavier sash than our stock balances will support. To confirm, we'll need to know the exact weight of your sash. We'll also need to know the exact length of the metal balance channel, as well as the number of balances you need with the minimum being two.

Please see the below. Does this help? This was sent to us from your site

The prior balances were RS B-SIN 26-7 (estimated holding 11-20 lbs x2). There are 2 per sash.

Unforutnately, the S770 is a different type of balance than the assembly shown in your photos. Two types of balances can have the same stamp but that doesn't;t mean that they are calibrated to support the sash sash weights. We'll need to know the exact length of your balance channel and the weight of your window sash to confirm the correct replacements.

Okay. How do we get the balance channel's exact length and the window sash's weight to confirm the correct replacements?

You'll need to measure the balance channel as shown below.

As for the sash weight. You'll need to remove the sash and place it on a bathroom scale to confirm the weight. The sash removal process is shown in the video below. Disregard the different style balances shown at the beginning of the video, which does not pertain to your repair but the sash removal will be the same process,
