We bought a house with older replacement windows. We are trying to avoid replacing the windows if we can get them back to working order. The first window I took apart, the pivot shoe came apart in pieces.
Need pivot shoes - based on the measurements, 2" x 1 1/4" x 1/2", part has Pat. 3,055,062 stamped on it. It looks like 15-046 might work.
Need sash pivot bars - not all the windows are bent like this one. This looks to about 3" long. I kept the springs & screws I took out.
Need sash release levers. This is 1 3/8" long. I assume there should be 2 legs on the back that attach to the internal latch. Can these be inserted into the internal latch?
The windows all seem to have working spring balances but they look like the one pictured; dirty and greasy. Can these be cleaned or should I just replace?
I would need to get whatever tool(s) I need to fix the balances to the shoes.
Need stops - perhaps I can get these locally. They are 4 1/2" long by 1 3/8". The center is 3/4" between the brackets. The ones I have are brittle, so when I remove them they come apart or break.
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. We can help with many of the parts you show here, but unfortunately not all. I will do my best to address each point in order.
- I agree that our 15-046 is a good potential match for your pivot shoe, but you may also want to consider our 15-015. I've seen that kind of "indented" style before and in my experience the 15-015 was the go-to pick. I would triple check the thickness measurement just to be 100% sure. Make sure to measure an undamaged version. It is still possible that the 15-046 is exactly what you want, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention the 15-015.
- Your pivot bar may very well be a match for our 26-040. You should check the hole placement in relation to the front tip to verify. That will be the deciding factor. We have plenty of other similar styles if the hole isn't properly aligned, so just let me know and I can find something else for you.
- We don't sell that sash release lever. I've honestly never seen anything like this before. My recommendation in this case would be to adapt a surface-mount tilt latch to your window. I will share a video at the end of my response that will show you how this can work.
- As long as your balances are in working order there's no need to replace them. It can't hurt to clean, but keep in mind that that grease is there to keep the spring lubricated. After cleaning, you may want to re-lubricate the spiral with a new application of white grease to keep it in good working order.
- The tool in question would be our 75-006.
- We unfortunately do not sell sash stops of any kind. A local hardware store may indeed be able to accommodate you.
Here is the surface mount tilt latch guide that I mentioned. Hopefully this information helps, but I'd be happy to answer any follow up questions you may have!
