Home Owner from CA

I HAVE 4 OLD ALUMINUM WINDOWS NON OF WHICH HAVE CHANNEL BALANCES THAT WORK. IN EACH CASE THE SASH MUST BE PROPPED UP TO OPEN THE WINDOW.NONE OF THE CHANNEL BALANCES ARE INSTALLED. I HAVE TWO OF THEM THAT ARE RUSTY AND LONG AGO REMOVED AS EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS REQUIRED.

BSI 2210

1/2" ALUM CHANNEL IS 23" LONG.

THE PLASTIC END PIECES ARE A MYSTERY. MANY OF THE EXAMPLES YOU SHOW LOOK THE SAME. HELP.

Hello and thanks for contacting SWISCO. Based on the nylon attachments this looks like either our S351-23 or S390-23 with a stamp option of 2210. The only difference between the Series 351 and Series 390 is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. The Series 351 bottom nylon shoe has a depth of 1", whereas the Series 390 bottom nylon shoe has a depth of 1-1/8". Below are the dimensions of each respective shoe. Compare with your old balances and see what you think matches best.
