Help Identifying Casement Operator for 2004 Traco Commercial Aluminum Window

Home Owner from El Dorado Hills, CA

Hi Swisco Team,

I’m hoping you can help me identify and source a replacement casement window operator for a commercial-grade Traco window installed in 2004.

The issue is with the spindle, which has stripped internally. The handle itself is still functional, but it no longer engages due to the damaged spindle. I believe the entire operator mechanism needs to be replaced.

Attached are several photos showing:

  • The operator housing from multiple angles (open and closed positions)
  • The arm mechanism and attachment points
  • The window frame and sash construction
  • A full view of the window

Let me know if you need additional measurements or photos. I'm happy to remove the operator for exact specs if needed.

Thanks in advance for your help—looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello! This looks like a typical rear-mount operator. We have two products that might replace this, depending on the length of the arm. See our 39-477, which has a 9-1/2" arm, and the 39-023, which has an 11" arm. Note that the arm length is measured from center of wheel bearing to center of gear. Also note that both operators have a thin, stainless steel wheel bearing. You should check yours to ensure it's the same, since I can't quite make it out while it's installed.
