My window does not open further than this. I can close it but I can't figure out how to remove the last screw on the crank assembly because the arm is blockibg it. Any ideas?

I see what you mean. So the problem is that you can't remove the operator because the last screw is hidden under the arm, which you can't move since the operator no longer cranks properly. Is that about right?
Your best bet is to try to disconnect the end of the operator arm from the sash track, then try to manually push it aside. It's possible the gears are stripped out so I'm not sure if that will be possible, but give it a try.
If you can get it out, then I believe our 39-013 and 39-014 can be used as substitutes. Look them over and see what you think.
