I need balancing coils

Question

In the upper picture on the left, I broke one of the posts, I do have extra posts that fit this coil balancer will they work in yours?

The weight of the lower sash which I need the coil balancers for is 15 pounds

I need both the left and the right, I’m not sure about the post if they will fit your coil balancers

As I will need the correct balancers, I could not find any identifiable markings to know which ones I need through all side local distributor.

Thanks for posting. I believe the posts you are referring to may be the pivot bars at the bottom of the sash. It is very likely the existing pivot bars will be compatible with our shoe since they appear to be an exact match. If you are not sure, I'll need to see a photo of the existing pivot bar to identify it.

That said, take a look at the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe and compare the dimensions to confirm they will be a fit. These use the Series 152 Coil Balance, which is attached to the shoe using the 33-072 screw.

Since the sash weighs 15lbs, I suggest using the S152-7, which will support a total of 14lbs. You can also use the S152-8, which will support 16lbs.

To replace the cover/support, we suggest using the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel.
