Take a look and compare our 82-089 handle set with 3-15/16" hole spacing to yours.

Your mortise lock is less straightforward because the assembly reminds me of our 82-265 but the cut-out leads me to think you may have had a recessed faceplate at one time like our 82-260 mortise. That being said, the 82-260 faceplate installs on the outside of the cutout and all of your installation holes appear to be on the inside. Take a look and see if you think that one of these locks could work for you. Thanks for posting!
