We have broken window locks to single pane jeld wen windows installed in 2005. Two locks to each window and they are broken. Color is bisque or beige. Want to replace.

See our 90-252 Latch Mechanism and the accompanying 90-253 Latch Cover. Look these parts over and see if you think they could work for you.

I'm trying to replace a similar latch cover but it's not exactly as the one shown in this original post. Could you please look at these photos of my Jeld-Wen latch cover and latch and tell me if 90-253 will also work for mine? Thank you!

I agree, the 90-253 is similar but not quite identical. There is a chance it will fit over your existing latch, but I'm personally not optimistic. Figure that the 90-253 is only designed to fit over the 90-252 mechanism. It's not made to fit on anything else, so using it in any other capacity is going to be a gamble. I've personally never used the 90-253 on anything other than the 90-252 mechanism, so I unfortunately can't advise.

Hello! That lock mechanism appears to be the same as shown in the photos above. If you haven't already, I highly recommend reviewing the hardware we've suggested throughout this thread to determine if they will work for you in the same capacity.

Hello! Have you seen the 90-252 and 90-253 lock components that we suggested above? If not, I highly recommend that you review. They remain our best suggestion for this older part.

What is the catalog number of the other side of the latch? The metal piece that it locks into.

Thanks for posting. The 90-252 Sash Lock can work with a few different keepers, among them are the 90-255, 90-254 and 90-330. See their dimensions below. Let us know if you think any of these keepers match what you need.
