Hey there, Kyle. Our 15-175 pivot shoe along with our S152-4 coil spring should work just fine as a replacement for you. Take a look and see what you think.

Paul,

Thank you. That looks like the right parts.
But there is a cover that goes along with it. Is that part available?
Do you rent out the jam spreaders, or offer something else/ solution . My customer nearly had a heart attack.

Thank you kyle

Your exact coil spring cover isn't available, actually. If you need the single coil cover, you can use 15-150S, which doesn't require a bushing for the spring. For removal of the pivot shoe, look at our video on the right for instructions on how to use the cut-out method.

I have NAPCO 3000 Premium Replacement Vinyl Tilt In Windows....13 of them actually....I need replacement pivot shoes and springs. There are two coil springs on each side accompanying each pivot shoe. The springs attach to one side of the pivot shoe with a screw. The top spring has letters C L stamped on it and the bottom spring has a C stamped on it. There is also a white cover over each coil spring, with a bushing in the center through which a screw mounts the coil spring to the vinyl window jam. The springs have blown up and covers with bushings are broken too.

The pivot shoe is 1 1/4" wide by 1 3/8" high overall.

I'm sending pics.

Thanks for posting. This exact pivot shoe is no longer made, but our 15-177 should be able to replace it. This new shoe, like your old one, works with Series 152 Coil Balance springs. Replacement coil springs are defined by their 'spring weight', or the weight each individual spring can support. Springs stamped 'C' mean they can support 3 pounds of weight apiece. We actually don't carry a 3 pound unit for the Series 152; however, you should be able to just use a single 6 pound spring on each side of the window sash instead. This will support the window sash just as well (and should be easier to install!). Therefore, use (1) S152-6 6 pound spring to replace every pair of springs stamped 'C' you originally had. Let me know if that makes sense.

If your old coil housing is undamaged, you can reuse it. Otherwise use our newer components, the 15-143, 15-144, and 15-145 for each spring. These parts 'sandwich' around the coil. Let me know if you have any other questions!
