Can you help me figure out what spring i need for my simonton double hung window

Hello,

Thanks for you post! I'm happy to recommend a replacement for your coils. However, since the screw is still attached to the tip, I suspect a piece of the shoe may have broken off. Can you confirm?

I will also need to know the stamp/marking from the other coil.

Hi yes the shoe is broken off . That is the only reason we are replacing it.

The marking on the other side is the same . Can you tell me exactly what I need to replace both springs and shoes.

I need a complete replacement to adapt to the existing Sash.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for confirming. Since the shoe is broken, you'll need to replace the entire assembly.

The 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe is not an exact replacement but we are confident in it for the repairs. The existing pivot bar will not be compatible with it, so you'll need the 26-083 as well.

This shoe uses the Series 159 Coil Balance. Based on the stamp, you'll need the S159-07 to replace your coils. To replace the support you'll need the 15-256 Coil Double Support.
