The spring tensioner that holds the window in place is broken.
I would like to order the replacement and instructions.

Hello there. This looks like our Series 795 Channel Balance. You'll need the length of the metal channel and the stamp on the channel, and you'll need to properly identify the T-Lock Shoe attached to this balance. It also appears your balances attach to the top of the jamb track with a hook rather than a screw clip like our standard balances. Can you show us a picture of the hole the hook attaches to? Its shape will tell us what you need. You can read more about the Series 795 here. It appears you also might need to replace the pivot bars, the pins that connect the balances to the window. Please remove an undamaged pivot bar and compare to our selection here. See the video below. |

Hi again. Perfect, thanks. It appears the hole the hook fits into is square-shaped. If so, then you can use a 26-200 screw plug to install one of our standard Series 795 Channel Balances.
