Nami window crank operator

Handy Person from Natick

Hi, I have a window that cranks out. The operator has broken. I do not know which operator to buy. I took a picture of the window sticker. Could you help me identify the correct operator. Thank you.

Hi Chris, thanks for contacting us here at SWISCO. We're happy to help find you a replacement operator, but we'll need to see it. Can you send us a bird's eye view photo, so we can get a good look at the link arms? Dimensions are helpful, too!

I can but I wont be able to get the pics right away. I will need 2 weeks because it is at my vacation house.

Thanks for the photos. I think I can help. Now, I'm not sure of your arm length, but look at our 39-023 operator. This has an 11" arm. See if the dimensions and arm length match up to yours. If so, this would be a good option.

Thank you. I did try to read the arm. This is what I could read:

Anderberg M Los Angeles. Pat# 4,364.2. 4,571.77

Will this help identify the length of the arm

I'm afraid that doesn't tell us anything. You'll have to measure your operator in order to determine the size of the arm.

Hi Dave,

So I received the operator from you a month or two ago and was just able to try it out. The one you sent me is about two inches short and I need it to crank the opposite way. Could I order another please? Otherwise the other specifications works out well. By the way. If I put the 11 inch on would it still work, just the window would not crank out as far, or would it not work at all. I am only asking this, because I am deciding whether or not to return the one you sent me, or just to keep it and replace the other casement window operator when it goes.

Thanks for getting back to us! I think the 11" arm will be fine. Your window should still be able to close, it just won't open as far. If it does end up being an issue, you can return it for a refund.

I do apologize about the orientation. I thought the 39-023 most closely matched the operator in your photos. For the opposite side, see our 39-022.

Perfect. I will get the other arm. I didn't know there was a left and right to these cranks. I took a picture of the the operable one because I couldn't open the broken one. So, not your fault. Thanks again.
