Need Installation Help

Quick Learner from United States
Good Afternoon,   I ordered 15-087, 15-086, 16-024, 26-089, and S180 Coils with 33-072 Screw.
Are there full installation instructions on how to get both Coils and parts in the jamb?
Is ther a trick to getting both Coils on the Bracket?
Thank you very much!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We don't have instructions for these parts, but take a look at the diagram below. Customers have reported that it helps to assemble the parts before placing them in the jamb. I'm afraid there isn't a trick since you don't have a lot of room to work with, so it will take time and patience.

I did finally figure out how to get the coils onto the bracket and install the housing assembly in the frame. Three photos are attached which show this. Photo 1 shows how the shape of the bracket allows the small tab on one side to be inserted in the top of the Tandem Coil Housing on the top. This holds the bracket on the housing while the upper coil can be attached to the other side of the bracket as seen in Photo 2. Photo 2 also shows how the lower coil can be attached to the bracket by using a screwdrive in the lower hole to lift the coil up onto the bracket. Then the whole assembly can be inserted into the window frame and slid to where the screw hole in the barket will line up with the screw hole in the frame so the screw can be installed. Once the screw is tightened the small tab will come free from the bracket and allow the housing assembly to move up and down as shown in Photo 3.

Thank you for the detailed insight. This should be helpful to future customers with the same hardware!
