Thanks for writing in! Your Simonton coil balance pivot shoe is no longer made but the good news is we do have a viable replacement solution that will work for your repairs. Take a look at our 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe. This is should fit well in the window track but be sure to look over the dimensions to confirm.

Dimensions for 15-259

This shoe is compatible with the Series 159 Coil Balance. If all of your balances are stamped with a 408, then our S159-8 should work well as a replacement. You'll need to make sure to double check for nay stamps or markings.

You'll need to replace the pivot bar with our 26-083. The compatible covers are the 15-255 Coil Single Support and 15-256 Coil Double Support.
