Need correct part

Question

I already ordered, received, and installed a S-140-25
It does not seem to make it passed the window latch.
I also broke the sash pin.
It also doesn't seem to have enough travel
The widow is 36w x 28h

Any help in getting the correct parts would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Looking at your photo, it doesn't look like the Series 140 was the right part for the job. I'd be happy to find you a closer match to your original balance assembly but I'll need you to remove the original--each component, including spring, cover, and pivot shoe--and show me a clear photo of it by itself and without obstruction. Would that be possible?

You'll also need the code printed on the springs. You should see them close to the end of the band, where it connects to the shoe.

Concerning the pivot bar, it's tough to ID yours from a broken piece, but the design is similar to our 26-378. You'll need to use an undamaged version as a reference to verify whether our 26-378 is correct.
