Hi- This lock is on a single hung vertical window. It won't latch properly. Can you suggest parts - I would like to replace it all. The brand on the latch is Jeld-Wen. The brand on the underside of the latch is Interlock.

Hello,

We do not carry this particular lock but the 90-252 latch and 90-253 cover come to mind. We also offer the 90-255 keeper used with this latch. They're still different so we can't make any guarantees. Look over the specifications and see what you think. Thanks for posting!

I am in need of the same replacement parts for 4 of my windows. Do you know if the parts selected worked? THanks

We haven't heard back from this customer on if the suggested parts worked but we do recommend them often. The determining factor would be how the specifications compare to your original latch.

Thanks for the quick response. I ordered a few and will see if this works. Apparently these locks are hard to find!

The parts do fit the existing holes in the window frame and the keeper and latch mechanism line up properly with each other. The latch works beautifully however I am having trouble getting the latch cover to click on to the latch mechanism. This may just be a strength issue and I don't want to try tapping it with a hammer. Will ask our window guys to try attaching it when they are here next time. I have ordered another set for a second window.

The cover should snap into place but if you're having trouble, it would be a good idea to have a professional assist you to avoid damaging them. You can also check to ensure that part of the sill or frame isn't getting in the way.

OP,
were you able to figure out getting the latch to close? I am also looking for replacements and the form here say there is an alternative locking mechanism available if these dont work.
