Need to replace old spiral balancers

Home Owner from Texas
I want to make sure I do not order the wrong parts for my house. We are trying to sell it so I am replacing the old spirals. I have attached images for you.

I am going to need 32 29" ones and 10 of the 17". There is so much paint on them I can not see any names or numbers. I was looking online and they keep asking about color. Its so old it didnt have any color on it. If you can help me out that would be great. Thank you!

Good afternoon, and thank you for posting! Before we can offer an applicable substitute for your spiral balances, I just need to know a bit more information.

First, what are the diameters of your two different spiral balance tubes? We carry spiral balances that are either 3/8" in diameter, or 5/8" diameter (many balance tubes measure 9/16", as well, but in the industry they are considered 5/8".)

Then, can you tell me what the weight of your window sash is? You can determine this by removing the sash from the window and placing it on any common bathroom scale.

Finally, can you confirm that, when measuring the length of your balances, you are only measuring the tubes? Do not include the tip or the bracket in your measurements, only the tube.

Let me know!

Diameters of both measure 9/16" or 5/8"...

We took off the sash with the balancers and the weight of the bigger ones were 14.5 Ibs and the smaller ones weighed 8.5 Ibs.

The measurements are just including the tube. I have 16 larger windows that have 29 1/16" tubes and I have 5 smaller windows that have a measurment of 17"

Thanks for the information! I'd recommend for you our Series 500 spiral balance. Take a look at that and see if it matches up. I would also suggest a Bottom Sash Spiral Balance Bracket, such as our 17-012.

You may want to also look through our guide on how to adjust a spiral balance on a non-tilt window.
