I have what appears to be the equivalent of a 26" SERIES 795 CHANNEL BALANCE. The bottom T-LOCK BALANCE SHOE measures 1" from side to side. It appears 15-194 is the right size, but how do I know if it's a closed cam? Do I really need to replace it or can I use the old one?
The top fitting in the balance that I have is riveted on. I've included some pictures. Does the one you sell have the same fitting?
Also, the to clip looks different. Do I just use mine?

Hello there! Your cam looks closed to me. If it were open, you could see right through it. I'd be able to see the wood grain on your table through the shoe in your fifth photo, but I can't so it must be closed.
It looks like you have an S795-26 channel balance with a 15-194 bottom and 15-198 top. We can supply this configuration, but it will have to be a custom order. Can you just tell me how many you need? Can you also tell me what the stamp on your balance reads? Once I know that, I can email you an order link and price quote for that quantity.

I'd need 2 of them for now. The stamp on the channel reads 26C BSI. Yes, you are right, the bottom is a closed cam. The 15-198 clip at the top also looks correct, but what is the top fitting? Is that the "custom" part? Thank you!

Hello! I'm not sure I understand your question. The 15-198 is the top fitting. The top of your balance is otherwise identical to our Series 795. I see nothing that would prevent ours from working. Could you be more specific?

15-198 is just a $0.45 clip. What I consider the top fitting is the 2 plastic pieces that hold the strings and the spring. It's riveted on at the top. Here's the pictures:

That's just part of the pulley system built into the balance itself. It's identical to the pulley system on our Series 795 and I don't think it will cause any issues for you. It's not custom at all, it's just what comes with the balance by default.
