Pella balance

Question

I'm having some difficulty in keeping my balance clip's in place . The ones I have have the pointed clip. I see the Balance clip 15- 198 Has a little more of a angle end which looks like it may hold better? I have the Pella fiberglass with the narrow slot for the clip. Also, will the S-765 series with the screw clip work as replacement to alleviate the metal clip issue. I have about a dozen windows that I have to repair.

We unfortunately don't have an alternative version of the 15-198. I see in your order history that you bought our Series 795. One trick you can do is to use our 26-200 screw plug. This plugs right into the square hole in the frame, where the hook used to go, and allows you to screw our Series 795 right in without having to make any further alterations. I find this a lot easier to do but it's only viable if the hole itself is the right shape, which yours appears to be. The video below will go into more detail.
