I have a 3 sided metal channel 18" long 1/2" wide and has 18E stamped on it . It uses the 15-194 balance shoe and the part on the end of the string that connects to the jamb is a hook that lives in a slot. These are Pella brand windows. Can you help me with the correct replacement part number?

Hey, Chris. It sounds like you need a new Series 795 channel balance with a 15-194 shoe and 15-198 top hook, but I'm not familiar with any Pella windows that used these parts. I recommend looking over each one I mentioned to confirm that everything matches up. Let me know if they do and we can get the ball rolling. If they don't, however, we'll need some photos so that we can find a better solution.
That seems like a reasonable assumption to me. It's uncommon but not totally unheard of.
