I need pivot shoe replacement. Window are from 2005 year
Thanks for posting. I am afraid we can't cross-reference those codes to anything. The only reliable way to identify a pivot shoe is to remove it from the window and send us pictures. We'll also need the width and thickness of the shoe. We should be able to narrow things down from there. The video below shows the 'cutout' method for removing and replacing pivot shoes.
That will do, thanks. This is an old Simonton Coil Balance shoe that is no longer made. The Certainteed 15-192 shoe is very similar, but it does not fit a Simonton window track properly. You may be able to get it to do by rubbing down the alignment ridges on its face, but we've had mixed reports as to whether or not that works. Because of this, we have a substitute solution: the 15-259 pivot shoe will fit your window. However you'll also need to replace the old coil springs with the Series 159. The video below shows how.

Weigh the window sash the coil springs support. Give me that exact weight, and I can calculate the spring weights needed for you.
For your old coil springs, a stamp of '406' translated to a 6 pound spring, and a '405' to a 5 pound spring. The issue is that the Series 159 Coil Balances you'll be using in the conversion have weights that end in 1/2 pound increments. That causes enough of a difference potentially where I would not advise just using a 6.5 pound spring to replace a 6 pound spring, for instance. Unfortunately the only way to accurately assess the spring weights needed for this process is to weigh the sash. Placing the sash on a bathroom scale would suffice.
If the upper sash in a double hung window can't stay up, it is very likely the balance springs or associated hardware for that sash has failed. If you can remove the hardware and show us, we can help.
