Plain channel balances needed

I need to replace the channel balances for 8 windows; I think I need the S795 but want to make sure that I order the correct thing. Here is more information:
Length - 27" (labeled 27B)Width - ½" Shoe - 1 ¼" w x 2" heightThe top has a hook for attaching to the frame; we could reuse these as necessary if only screw top is available. At the bottom of the frame, there is a small cutout for removing/replacing the shoe. Original window manufacturer was Hurd; house built in 2007. One more note - where the channel piece meets the shoe, it is pushed in or concave to allow the pin from the sash to slide it, which looks different from the S795 (flat).

Thanks for reaching out to us, Sean. Your balance is a match for the Series 795 but this must be a custom order since yours uses the 15-198 hook to install. Can you confirm the number of balances you'd like to replace? Note that if the windows differ in size, the length and stamp will be different so it's a good idea to check to be sure.

Thank you for prompt reply! It is for 8 windows; all are 27B. So, 16 total? Or do you sell them as sets? I want to be sure there is that channel so the pint on the sash can slide in there (or, let me know the difference in installation).

I'm not too sure what you mean but our replacement S795 balances come with the 15-195 shoe by default which will work with your existing pivot bars. I'll go ahead and email you a purchase link and price quote for (16) S795-27 balances with the 15-198 hook attached and 27B stamp. You can use this to place an order on our website.

I received the link and pricing - looks great; thanks for sending that on. Because they aren't returnable, I want to be sure I've addressed everything - here are a couple of pics with the concave areas I'm talking about (outlined) and a new pic showing that profile where it meets that shoe on the old balance. I'm probably making this more complicated than it needs to be, but please have a look and let me know what you think. I appreciate it!

Your balance has that "groove" in the channel so that your old shoe with the recessed stem can fit into it. Our Series 795 lacks this groove so you won't be able to use your old shoe but the default shoe for our balance will be fine for your window. I hope this helps!
