Hey Joe. This is a Simonton Coil Balance system that is no longer made; however our 15-259 Pivot Shoe and Series 159 Coil Balance springs can replace it. The video below shows how.

Hello, I have removed the balance coils ( see pictures attached)and I have weighed the window. The window weighs 23 pounds. It is a double Hung window. Will I be able to use the coil holder that I currently have or will I need a replacement to use with the coil, I will be purchasing from you. Can you please provide the part information with item numbers for the proper coil and holder if necessary for this weight window, the brand is prism window.

For a 23 pound sash using two springs per side, you want to use our S159-05. Each individual spring holds 5.5 pounds, which will give you 22 pounds of total support. That should be sufficient in your case.

I recommend using the 15-256 coil cover rather than reusing your original. You'll also need the 15-259 shoe, of course.

Hello, I have received my window replacement parts. I'm using a double coil system and I'm curious if you have a video showing how to assemble the double coil to the pivot shoe? Thanks, Joe.

Hey Joe. The video below shows how to assemble and install a triple coil balance system from a different but similar Series. Let me know if this helps--if you have further issues, let us know in what way and I'll do my best to help.

Hey Joe. Well done. From what I can see the coil springs are interlocked correctly and attached to the shoes. Let us know if you have any issues installing, or any further questions.

Hello, the installation of the new parts went great. I have just ordered enough parts now to finish the seven other windows that are broken. Thanks for all your help finding the proper parts. It went so well. I may add this to my list of services that I provide for my handyman business.
Thanks again, Joe.
