Replace Balance on Simonton Window

Question

Im trying to find the spring balance assembly parts for a Simonton Window. Also had a questino on removing the plastic part at the top as itis onger than the cutout in the window frame.

Thanks for reaching out! It is difficult to tell from the photos but your coil balance shoe looks like it could be replaced with our 15-199. Take a look over the dimensions. Carefully compare them to your shoe to see if this might be a fit.

This coil balance shoe is compatible with the 1/2" thick Series 160 Coil Balance. To determine which of these is the right fit, you'll need to confirm the thickness of your coil springs. If they are 1/2" thick, you'll need the S160-5 and the S160-6.

This coil balance is compatible with the 15-150D Coil Double Support.

When removing these assemblies, you'll need to kind of feed them through the cutout. Take a look at the video below for a visual demonstration on how to remove them.
