Replacement

A contractor from Riverton, WY says:
My existing carrier is 9/16", the tape reels are 1/2", but no identifier as to the weight. I'm in need of (1) RH and (1) LH. The actual window unit size is 45-3/4" x 39", single-hung vinyl window tilt-wash. Can you send me in the right direction for replacement parts please. Thank you.

Hello! Your shoe looks like a match for our 15-199, which is designed to be used with either the Series 160 coil spring. I am confident that these parts will work for you.

A contractor from Riverton, WY says:
Thank you Tom. There is no stamp on the existing coil for weight. With the information that I provided earlier, do you know what "LB" coil spring I will need. I'm also needing the coil covers. Thanks!

Tom from SWISCO responded:

If your old springs don't have stamps, then you'll have to weigh your sash on a scale, then divide that by how many springs support it; in your case, four. That should tell you which weight option to pick for the individual springs.

For the cover, I recommend the 15-150D.
