Replacement coils

Question

Hi,
I need to get replacement coils for three different windows. The parts look like these in all of them. What information would I need to provide other than the sash weight? Do you have any replacement parts for the plastic pieces? The spring is 1/2" wide and there is no visible number

Hi Larry,

This exact balance shoe is no longer made but we're pretty confident the 17/32" thick 15-199 Pivot Shoe will work as a replacement. Carefully review and compare the dimensions below to confirm it will be a fit.

You may also need the 26-378 Pivot Bar.

Since your coil measures 1/2" thick, you'll need the Series 160 Coil Balance. To determine the correct coil from that list, you will need to obtain the exact sash weight. That is the only way to confirm the spring you need without the stamp.

The support can be replaced with the 15-150S Coil Single Support. There are others for assemblies that use more that one coil.
