Replacement window balance

A quick learner from North Carolina says:
I have previously order replacement window balance hardware S850-34 with black 1 1/4 width shoe. I think the S850-34 is discontinued. Can you give me the list of replacement hardware that is now available.

Thanks for posting. The Series 850 has indeed been discontinued. We recommend you use the Series 795 as a substitute. See the video below for details. For your pivot bar, take a look at the 26-366. Compare the dimensions to your old part and see what you think.

A quick learner from North Carolina says:
what balance lock shoe do you recommend. In the past I used the 1 1/4 show with the series 850.

Hey there, since your original shoe is 1-1/4", you should be fine with the shoe that comes attached to the S795-34. It's our 15-195 1-1/4" T-Lock Shoe. Hope this helps!

The Series 795 comes with a 1-1/4" shoe, so if that's what size you need then you should be good to go.

A quick learner from North Carolina says:
When installing the replacement pivot bar 26-366 the pivot bar slips out of the series 795. It appears to the bar needs to extend out from the window more. Like 1/8 inch more. What do you recommend.

Unfortunately the 26-366 pivot bar does not come in any longer sizes.

Is it possible to move the screw holes out to the sash edge?
