Replacement window coil balance

Question

22 year old window needs new single window coil balances. Sash weighs 10 lbs. No stamped numbers or window manufacturer name. Coil is 1/2", housing is 2 7/8", lock piece is 1 1/4", channel width is 1 1/2". (Measurements are close, but having difficulty removing existing coil balance so maybe not exact). Is part # S140-05 the correct replacement?

The Series 140 coil assembly is different compared to what you have. We do sell the parts you need, but only separately; they're not available as a kit.

See our 15-177 pivot shoe and Series 152 coil spring to start. Being a 10 pound window, you would use one 5 pound spring per side. I also recommend reusing your old cover since they aren't made anymore. We have a more modern alternative for the cover, but yours appears to be in good condition so no reason not to get as much use out of it as you can.
