Replacement window crank

Question

Hello, I am looking for some help picking out the correct replacement crank assembly. I believe it is the truth encore low pro file 39-253RB. Does the cover plate on mine come off? It doesn't appear to.

Thanks for reaching out! Your casement window operator does look it could be either our 39-253LB (and it's opposite part 39-253RB) however, it could also be our 39-439B (and its opposite handed version 39-438B).The difference between these two operators is the attachment connected to the end of the straight arm. The video below explains, in detail, how to determine which of the operators you have.

In regard to your cover, it does not appear that you can remove them. So you would need to purchase new cover and handle kits at when purchasing your new operators. Both styles of operators are compatible with the 39-375 and 39-376 folding cover and handles as well as the 39-451 and 39-452 non-folding cover and handles
