Hi: Attempting to repair the balasts on a couple of 35x58 double pain tilt out windows. Unsure of manufacturer. The do have old "string" and block an pully mechanism which I guess I can replace with a newer technology. These would have been installed 18 years ago. The bottom pane of these windows weighs 36lbs. Measurements of the exiting channels are on the photos.
Appreciate a reccomended part number! And any tips on installing a non-string balast replaement.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We can help with this. Your balance is a match for the Series 795. However, yours uses a hook like the 15-198 to install, which means this must be a custom order. We'll just need a few additional details to get this moving for you.
- Can you confirm the length of the metal channel and the stamp printed on the back of it?
- How many balances are you looking to replace?
- If you need a new pivot bar, we will need to see it removed from the window sash.
