Replacing window channel balance on non tilt windows.

A quick learner from Florida says:
I was trying to replace the channel balances and one of the silver clips became bent up and unusable. And I want to make sure I'm using the correct balance as well. Thanks:)

Thanks for writing in. We can replace this balance for you, but we'll need you to remove it from the window so you can provide clear pictures of the nylon fittings on either end of the balance. Confirming the length of the metal channel would also be helpful. From there, we'll narrow down the right balance Series for you. If you need a new take-out clip, see our 16-002. Many thanks.

A quick learner from Florida says:

Ok I took some pics of the nylon fittings. I also need top sashes. Took some pics of those too

And the channel balance measure 29" in length

Thanks! This looks like our S380-29 channel balance. I'd also recommend a 2830 stamp, since your old one reads "28C."

For the top sash guide, see our 18-180.
