Replacing window crank

Home Owner from Fort Wayne
I would like to replace just the crank handle if possible. The handle is in the way when installing window blinds. Where do I find a replacement part? Also I do not see a set screw. How do I remove and replace the window crank? I believe I have Jeld wen vinyl windows. Thanks

Hello,

If you could open the window and show us the arms that move the sash, that should help us determine which handles would work for you and how they install. Thank you!

I would like to replace just the handle not the whole mechanism. How to you take the handle only off? There is no set screw.

I understand that you're looking for a replacement handle. I'm asking you to open the window so that we can see the entire assembly, which will allow us to identify your hardware and confirm the handle that you need. Once we know what handle you need, we can tell you how it is removed and installed.

Here are the pictures of the mechanism. I believe my windows are Jeld Wen I am hoping to be able to replace just the handle with a T piece or better yet foldable. Thanks

Great, your operator looks like a match to our 39-315 and 39-316, which do use the 39-114L handle. The 39-114L is pressure fit on the operator's worm gear, so you'd just pull the original handle directly off of the base.

You could use our 39-205 folding handle as a replacement, which uses a set screw to secure the handle to the worm gear.
