The Sash Carrier Assembly was broken, and the metal part dropped down.
I suggest it is similar to on lower sash.

Please note that the Series 795 is designed to be installed with a screw. If your balance uses a hook, please let us know.

Yes, the balance uses a hook. Upper balances are 24B, and lower balances are 26C, all of them with hooks.
