Thanks for posting! I recommend our S795-36 channel balance. Just keep in mind this installs at the top using a screw tab, not a hook. If your balance uses a hook, let me know. It will need to be custom made.

Tom, Can we discuss by phone?

Tom, my T locks are broken. Can't I replace new T locks in the existing channel balances instead of purchasing new channel balances?

I'm afraid we can't replace those shoes. We have the 15-195, but this won't work for you. Your shoe has a deep groove in the stem to match a similar groove in the metal channel. The only option we have is to replace the whole balance.

I now understand. My channel balance is flat on top and attaches to the jam by the header with a cord that is screwed (please see photos). Do you still recommend Swisco standard S795-36?

Yes, I still recommend our Series 795. This attaches to the header the same way. The S795-36 store page has product photos that you can use as a reference. As you can see, we show that it also installs at the top using a screw clip.

Bought 2 15-195 shoes. Pounded out channel balance groove. Once hot weather breaks I will find out if it works. Let you know.
