Thanks for writing in. May you remove the pivot shoe that this coil balance assembly attaches to and show it to us? The identity of the pivot shoe determines the identity of the coil balances needed. Many thanks.

A quick learner says:
Does this help? Attached: Pivot shoe attached to assembly. And the broken assembly open; I had to put screws into hold into place. Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you

Thank you! That's a huge help. Looks like you have a 15-199 pivot shoe. This is designed to be used with our Series 160 coil spring, which is 1/2" thick. I highly recommend measuring the thickness of your current springs to make sure this is correct. We have another similar spring that's skinnier, so it's important to know for sure.

The Series 160 is also compatible with our 15-150T triple support cover.

Let me know what you think of this hardware. Remember to measure the thickness of your spring before you buy anything. It's very important to confirm that yours are 1/2" thick. You'll also need the stamp off the old spring to confirm the best option.

A quick learner says:
Thank you Bob. 1/2" is correct! 2 quick questions:

I assume I would need the 10lbs version?

Also, Does the 15-150T come with a plastic housing cover or is that a separate part?

Thank you

Hello! I don't know what weight you need. You'll need to get the stamps off the old springs. I definitely wouldn't assume anything. Go by the stamps; if there are no stamps, then what you want to do is get the weight of the sash and divide by 6 (the number of springs used to support it). For example, if your sash is 24 pounds, you want six 4 pound springs.

The 15-150T is itself the plastic cover, and it is sold separately. All components for this coil balance system are sold separately.
