I believe these are the Pivot Shoes? What is the part replacement for this? Can I just replace this part along or is in combination with another part?

Hey there. This Simonton Coil Balance system and shoe is no longer made. The 15-192 Certainteed Pivot Shoe is very similar, but it has ridges on its surface that prevent it from fitting Simonton window tracks properly. You might be able to rub them down to get them to fit, but there's no guarantee that'll work, and modified items can't be returned for refunds.

We've come up with a substitute. You can use the 15-259 Pivot Shoe instead--however it'll require you using the Series 159 Coil Balance springs also. The video below explains.

Thank you for this information. How do you determine the weight for the coil balance spring. I'm unable to identify it on the part I have.

Hi again. The best thing to do is to weigh the window sash. Give me that exact weight and I'll calculate what you need.

Weight comes to 30.4 lbs.

Thanks for the clarification. In that case, see the S159-07 7.5 pound springs. Two on each side will give you 15 pounds of support per side, for a total of 30 pounds of support (being within a pound of the actual weight works fine). For double covers, see the 15-256. For the shoe, again, see the 15-259. let me know if you have further questions!
