Simonton Coil Balance Replacement

Question

Simonton coil balance replacements needed for 2 lower sash windows and one upper sash. Double coils they are. Bottom sash weights 21.7 lbs. I want to get the correct coils. Coil spring S159 is this ok? Double coil support 15-256. Pivot shoe 15-259. Pivot bar 26-083 needed? Numbers on window frame 62001-02, 36.6250, 49.5000, 65DHMH. Am I getting correct coils and parts for sashes to work?

Yes, the 15-259 and S159 coil balances will work for you since this is a Simonton brand window. The video below will go over all the details you'll need.

With your sash weight, you can use two S159-05 5.5-pound coil springs on both sides of the window. 11 pounds of support on both sides will total 22 pounds of overall support. You will also need the 15-256 double support.
