Simonton Window: coil spring replacement needed

Question

I have two Simonton Windows with broken coil springs that need replacing. A photo of the Simonton product label is attached along with some photos of the broken coil and another coil system that is still functional.

The product code number on the broken coil is partially rubbed off but based on what I can make out the following is my attempt at reading the information on the coil:
PA7 A7 523?208 , at the end tab of the coil is the following: #6.5 ?35" P

Not sure if I need the entire coil spring assembly plus the shoe. Need some guidance and recommendations.

Thanks for writing in! Your Simonton coil balance can likely be replaced with our 15-199 Pivot Shoe but you'll need to remove your assembly from the window to compare the dimensions. Take a look at the diagram below for reference.

Since your cover appears to be the 15-150S 1/2" Coil Single Support, I believe you have the 1/2" thick Series 160 Coil Balance. Since yours is stamped with a 6.5, you'll need the S160-06.

The pivot bar compatible with the 15-199 shoe is the 26-378 3" Pivot Bar.
