Simonton replacement coils, shoes and pivot bars

Question

I am look for replacement coils, shoes and pivot bars for Simonton hurricane rated windows. They are double coils. The coil is stamped 408. The coils are 3/4" wide. I have pictures. Can you assist me?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for writing in! The Simonton coil shoe you have here has been discontinued and is no longer available but we do have a replacement that should work well for your repairs.

You'll need the 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe which is compatible with the Series 159 Coil Balance. If both coils are marked with a 408, you can likely use the S159-08. Although, since these can support 8.5lbs it might be a good idea to double check the weight of the sash.

You'll also need the 26-083 Pivot Bar and the 15-256 Coil Double Support.
