I recently purchased a Split-Arm Operator (39-317) to verify if this would work for all of my windows. When assembling the test window I noticed that the extension arm (has 31550 stamped facing down) is underneath the main arm and I am needing this above to fit properly with the window screw holes. Is there a way to switch them or an alternate part to purchase allowing that to be above rather than below?
Outside of this one height difference this appears to work and would allow me to replace multiple windows that I have been wanting to do for several years now

Sure, we may be able to help. Could you show us a few pictures of your old operator removed from the window? That would be the best place to start. Please tell me exactly how your dimensions compare to those we show for the 39-317. Thanks!

Crank Operator is 4", same as 39-317
Split Arm matches, depending where you measure the length varies but matches the 39-317.
Link Arm is exactly 4" total length, same as the 39-317
I was able to install the 39-317 and it fits perfectly and appears to have the correct Split Arm and Link Arm measurements, just a different height as you can hopefully see with the attached picture.

Thank you! I think our 39-387 may have been a better match. Check it out and see if you agree.

I believe you are correct, that looks like the correct one and also says it replaced the brand of the original unit. I ordered and will try.

What I have done in the past was remove the link arms for both operators, then rivet the old one in the new one with the 62-014. Something else to consider.
