Spring balance in a 24 year old Milgard. Measures 9/16" wide metal is 30-5/8" long. Length including plastic ends is 32". The plastic bit on the big end is 1-1/16" deep and 7/8" wide at the ears.

Thank you for reaching out to us. It looks like you have an extended travel channel balance. We can help but it must be a custom order due to the configuration. Can you show us a photo of the metal clip attached at the end of the pulley cord? If it broke off, you'll have to get an undamaged version as a reference. Additionally, how many balances are you looking to order?

Hi thanks for getting back to me.
The string from the block and tackle attaches to a little metal piece 0.275" (7mm) wide and about 0.9" long on the exposed bit. See pictures.

Thank you! It's a bit tough to say but I believe this hook could be the 62-106. Can you confirm that for us? Custom orders are nonrefundable so we just want to be sure.

The exposed part doesn't have any bends and there is only one hole. If that 62 106 is no wider than 7mm it might work fine for the hole. I also will need at least one of the tabs you pull out at the top to capture the balance when removing the window. Both are still there but one is bent up.

Can you remove the hook from the window and show us? We also have the 62-105 but it's imperative to note that this and the 62-106 are not interchangeable. Custom orders are also nonrefundable so we just want to make sure we get you the correct hardware for your repair.

As for the tabs, it sounds like you're referring to a take out clip like the 16-002. Take a look at the specifications and see if they match what you need.
